Arrow Exterminators Acquires Spencer Pest Services of Florida

Arrow Exterminators acquired the Florida operations of Spencer Pest Services on January 31, 2012. With locations in Melbourne and Vero Beach, Spencer’s is a full service company, specializing in residential and commercial pest control, termite control, wildlife control and lawn and ornamental services.

“We made a strategic decision to focus on our future growth opportunities in South Carolina and Georgia and were looking for a home for our Florida business,” said Sheri Spencer, owner of Spencer Pest Services.  “At Spencer Pest Services, we strive for exemplary customer service and are passionate about how our customers and our employees are treated.  We feel that with this merger with Arrow, we are in the right ‘home.’ We know our employees will be well taken care of and that was really important to me. The family values and similar culture we share with Arrow Exterminators will make this transition seamless for our employees and our customers.”

Emily Thomas Kendrick, chief executive officer and president, Arrow Exterminators, said, “We have been looking to acquire a quality full service pest and termite control company in this part of Florida to complement and grow our existing Florida operations. Spencer’s commitment to their customers, family values and passion for customer service as well as their full service offerings is a perfect fit with us.”

Jeff Singley, chief operating officer, Arrow Exterminators, said, “Spencer Pest Services of Florida is an extremely well regarded company in the counties of Brevard, Indian River and St. Lucie.  We are proud to have this seasoned team of professionals join the Arrow family. We are continuously looking for acquisition partners who will complement our objectives and principles.”

Arrow continues to make acquisitions in the Florida marketplace as the acquisition of Spencer Pest Services follows last year’s acquisition of Nader’s Pest Raiders of Jacksonville.
