ATLANTA and SAN FRANCISCO — Rollins, Inc., parent company of Orkin, announced today that it has completed its acquisition of Crane Pest Control.

Crane Pest Control, Inc. was established in 1930 in San Francisco, Calif. The Company with annual revenues exceeding $10 million (which ranked it #50 on PCT’s 2008 Top 100 list) is a leading provider of advanced pest management, serving Northern California and the Reno/Tahoe Basin. Crane Pest Control’s primary service is commercial pest control and its existing business complements the services that Rollins offers through its subsidiary, Orkin. READING, Pa. – Shamrock Pest Management, headquartered in Middletown, N.Y., has entered into an agreement to join Ehrlich Pest Control. The announcement was made by Victor Hammel, Ehrlich President and CEO of Rentokil North America.

Shamrock services Westchester, Rockland, Ulster, Sullivan, and Orange Counties in New York as well as a portion of northern New Jersey. Shamrock was co-owned by Brian and Benette DeVera. The company has a strong residential focus and was well-known for the Clover Program, an ongoing pest prevention program. (more…)

ATLANTA, — Orkin has increased its customer base and market share with the acquisition of five pest control companies: PESCO Pest and Termite Control Inc., Brandon, Fla.; Pest Control Specialists Inc., Bay St. Louis, Miss.; All Ohio Fertilizer and Pest Control, Hudson, Ohio; Perminate Pest Control, East Hampstead, N.H.; and Bugs R Us Pest Control, Abilene, Texas. These acquisitions are in addition to the HomeTeam acquisition Rollins announced on April 3, and were finalized on Jan. 4, Jan. 11, March 7, March 19 and March 21, respectively. (more…)
