Arrow Exterminators Acquires Al Hoffer’s Melbourne Operations

Atlanta-based Arrow Exterminators announced acquired Al Hoffer’s Termite, Pest and Lawn business located in Melbourne, Fla. Hoffer’s is a full service company, specializing in residential and commercial pest control, termite control, wildlife control and lawn and ornamental services.

Orkin Acquires Big Deal Exterminating of Puerto Rico

Rollins, Inc. through its subsidiary Orkin acquired substantially all of the assets of Big Deal Exterminating of Puerto Rico.

Jose Capo started Big Deal Exterminating in 1989, a year after his mother, Migdalia Rosario, sold her company, Ramalos Pest Control. Rosario was the first woman licensed to perform pest control in Puerto Rico in the early 1970s. Capo was five-years-old when Rosario took him to work with her, and through the years, Rosario taught him the pest control business. Capo will now take on a managerial role with Orkin. (more…)

Orkin Acquires Evins Pest Control of Roslyn, NY

Orkin expanded its employee base in Roslyn, N.Y., with the acquisition of Evins Pest Control. The business will move to Orkin’s New Hyde Park branch, but will continue to operate as Evins.

Evins Pest Control services southern Westchester County, New York City’s five boroughs (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Staten Island, the Bronx and Queens), Nassau and western Suffolk Counties. (more…)

Copesan Services and Western Exterminator Company, Anaheim, Calif., have announced the termination of their business relationship.

Private Equity Firm EQT Acquires Anticimex, a Leading European Pest Control Company

EQT VI has acquired the Anticimex Group, a provider of pest control, food safety and adjacent services, from Swedish listed private equity firm Ratos for an enterprise value of approximately SEK 2.9 billion ($0.4 billion). Anticimex was founded in 1934 in Sweden.
